Last year, Matt took our two oldest to "Kids' Day" at the Bills Stadium, while I stayed home with our new baby. That day was a HOT one for Buffalo, and trying to enjoy their time while juggling the reality of the blazing heat was tough. As someone who spent most of their career working as an ER nurse, Matt's always thinking like one—this day he was constantly making sure the kids stayed hydrated and was obviously feeling the effects himself.

 

For years, I had watched Matt toy with the idea of opening an IV wellness clinic, but that day something special clicked: why not take that same concept and bring it straight to the people—at the events, tailgates, and celebrations where hydration and recovery are needed most?

 

With over a decade of emergency medicine experience in ER's all over WNY, Matt's seen firsthand how powerful proper hydration and targeted vitamins can be — not just for recovery, but for helping people feel their absolute best. He also knows how important it is to have a solid and effective IV protocol, administered by someone with LOTS of practice. That’s why it was important to him that every single member of our team was an emergency-trained nurse. You’ll get the same skill, safety, and professionalism you’d expect in a hospital, but in a relaxed, comfortable environment — whether that’s under a tailgate tent, singing along at your favorite bands concert, or right in your own living room.

We’re building Tailgate LIVE with deep Buffalo roots and a lot of hometown pride, so launching during the Bills' season just feels right for us. Our mission is simple: keep the good times rolling while looking out for our community.  We love this city. We love its people.
